I was driving through Westwold, BC when the idea for this book came to me. British Columbia has many major centres, but there are also so many tiny, interesting, and picturesque towns in British Columbia that deserve attention. I decided to search some of them out and feature them in this book.

This book was written with the assistance of AI. Mainly as an experiment to see what would happen. AI created the outline and did the research. I just wrote the book.
Topics include - zones, soil types, home remedies to plant problems, types of plants that grow well in the Okanagan and how to care for them, personal gardening fails of the author, and so much more.

In 2025, Leigh started a substack blog on things related to aging. This will be continuing in 2026 with an average of 2 blog posts a month. Fot 2026, Aging Audaciously will speak to the themes of health and aging, travel and aging, family and aging, and activity and aging.
